Why should you do a Free Walking Tour in Prague?

Free tours have become popular in many cities across the world, they are the most convenient and affordable way to discover a new city.

Tour guides can directly share their love for their city with you, via a tour provided completely free of charge, so you can relax and enjoy the sights. At the end, you are asked to place a value on the tour you have received and pay what you think is fair. This contribution allows our guides to continue doing what they love.

During our tours, the professional guides will show you all the important monuments and the history behind them. We will also take the time to show you some of the more local sides of the city so you can have a glimpse into the life of a local living in Prague.

Ian is great. We got there early and we were able to get on to an earlier tour without any issue. It was entertaining and informative in lots of ways - Ian brought the city history to life for us and is full of useful tips and advice too for people navigating … More Prague. In particular it meant that we could really appreciate what we were looking at when we saw the Astronomical Clock, the Old Town Square and the Jewish Quarter. Big thanks and highly recommended for any ages and walking abilities. A great half-day.

I have taken an infinite number of tours all around Europe, and Mike’s was hands down the best tour I’ve ever been in. Great story telling, knew how to keep everyone engaged throughout the whole tour. We liked it so much that we decided to join him for … More another one the next day! (Prague Jewish Quarter your and Prague’s Castle tour) Recommended to wherever has the opportunity to take a tour with him! Leaving tour aside, he’s an incredibly unique and interesting person to chat with! Thank you!

Arriving in Prague on Saturday we decided on doing the Old Town/ Jewish Quarter tour, our guide Paul was excellent, extremely knowledgeable and made it extremely interesting- Charles IV! So much so that we’ve booked on another one, we did the dark side … More tour with Scott on Sunday night and then the castle tour with Sarah on Monday in the snow. Sarah was so enthusiastic about Prague that we then booked the 20th century tour with her the next day. All tour guides were excellent and gave us insights of Prague we would have missed on our own plus a brief overview of the history of this city. Thoroughly recommend this company and all three of the guides we had. Thanks Paul, Scott and Sarah - you made this trip to Prague extremely enjoyable despite the cold weather.

Scott is an amazing story teller. I joined his tour on old town and Jewish quarter at first and immediately decided to come back the next day for the new town tour. It only got better. He also gave us an extensive list of suggestions on where to go for … More food, tourist spots etc. I would recommend to go for one of the tours when you just arrive Prague for a general overview.

I did the Old Town and Jewish Quarter tour as well as the Prague Palace tour. I was fortunate to have Scott as the tour guide for both. A very entertaining historian with lots of clever funny stories. It is clear he is passionate about his work. The … More almost 3 hours of each tour went very quickly. He is considerate to the pace and provides many recommendations of places to eat and entertainment. Highly recommend these tours
